Timothy Warren Alvarez, 59 of Ruther Glen, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 in St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond. Born in Utah, he was a kind, selfless and giving man who was so proud of his family. He knew no stranger. In a world where we obsess over earthly possessions, our father put his stock in relationships with his family and friends. We, as his most prized possessions rest easy knowing that our father has fallen at the feet of his Heavenly Father, and embraced the face of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his mother, Myrna Alvarez Kraft (James); his children, Nicholas Alvarez (Ashley) and Samantha Steffey (Brent); a sister, Debi Culotta; a brother, Randy Reale (Cathy); his grandchildren, Tristin and Kash Alvarez and Emory and Laken Steffey. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Alvarez.

Mr. Alvarez's wishes were to be cremated and the family will have a celebration of his life on November 4 , 2017 at 1 p.m. The Memorial Service will take place at Placid Bay Estates, 67 Mattox Ave, Colonial Beach VA 22443. Online condolences may be left for the family at
