Stephen Wyatt Cannady went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2017. Parents, Stephen Joel and Helen Keller Cannady preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, Kimette Gleason Canady; daughter Katie Crump (James, Sr.); grandchildren, James Crump Jr. and Kaitlyn Crump; numerous relatives and friends. Steve was a Navy Veteran for 20 years and employed by Colonial Beach Public Works. Steve's services will be on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Beginning at 9:30am, in St. Mary's Parish Hall, located on Washington Avenue, light breakfast fare will be offered to family and friends. A Memorial Service, officiated by the Rev. Thomas R. Hughes, will follow at 11:00am. Steve will be interred at Quantico immediately following the church service. Donations in Steve's memory can be made to St. Mary's Discretionary Fund, 203 Dennison Street, Colonial Beach, VA 22443.
