Shirley Temple Wilkins Baldwin, 80, passed away on August 7, 2017, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was born, raised and resided at Troy Farm in Leedstown. She was employed with the Tri County Council in Maryland and retired as an executive secretary from American Federation of Teachers and Nurses Union (AFT).

She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, active member of the water aerobics "Aqua Ladies" at the YMCA in King George, and a member of a canasta group. She and her dog, Chico, visited the nursing homes and libraries where Chico was a therapy dog.

She is predeceased by her parents, Myrtle Guthridge Wilkins and Robert Lee Wilkins; brothers, Kirkland and Marvin Wilkins. She is survived by husband, Bruce, and they have been married just shy of 60 years; daughters, Cindy Perrell (John), Sherri Dutton (Michael), Kathleen Wilson (Bradley); son, Robert Baldwin; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Services will be held on Friday, August 11, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall Snipes officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Peters Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church and/or American Heart Association. Condolences may be left for the family at
