Shirley Dillon Carneal, 81, of Spotsylvania died Sat. Oct. 14, 2017 at Carriage Hill Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Carneal; daughter, Karen Sue Carneal; a grandson, Scott Carneal and all of her 13 siblings. She was a waitress in the Fredericksburg area for many years. Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Doggett, Shana Wood and Toni Phelix; two sons, Bernard Carneal, Jr. and Michael Carneal; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Carriage Hill Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Carneal. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Burial will be private.
