Sara Ethel Siefferman, 82, of King George County, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital. Sara was born Saturday, December 28, 1935 in Winder, Georgia to the late Charles Mote, Sr. and Ethel Cochran Mote. She was an administrator at Powhatan Farm, she loved horses, was an avid tennis player, a devoted mother and enjoyed reading the classics and she studied Russian History on an undergraduate level.
She is survived by her three children: Phyllis McCown (Walter), Eric Siefferman and his companion Jim Pohlman, Elizabeth Liersch, brother, Charles Mote Jr., five grandchildren: Mathew and Jacob McCown, Mitchell Liersch, Ethan Liersch, Derek Fentress, brother-in-law Gordon, and his wife Loretta "Rhett", nephews: Almond Mote Jr., Gary Mote, Tim Mote, Alan O'day, Steven Siefferman, Thomas Siefferman, nieces: Vicki Jonson, Christina Siefferman, 9 Grandchildren and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Norman C. Siefferman, brothers: Almond Mote Sr., Bud Mote, Roger Mote, Sisters: Francis Hardagree, Rena Carlisle, and a brother-in-law Floyd Siefferman (Jane).

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with inurnment to follow in the St. Paul's Church Cemetery.
