Robert E. Carnohan, 84, of Ruther Glen died Sat., May 12, 2018. Born in Caroline County, Robert was a member of Carmel Baptist Church. In 1957, he was drafted in the U. S. Army. He did his basic training at Ft. Benning, GA. He did medical training at Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas and Ft. Belvoir. He served in Lachapell, France which is 70 miles south of Paris. He worked in the private sector for 41 years until his retirement in 1999. He is survived by six nieces and two nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thurs., May 17, 2018 at Storke Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Sign register book online
