Patricia Kaye Copfer, known affectionately in her life as "Patty" or "P.K.", passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. She was born on May 30, 1951, to Ralph and Lorena Brown of Russellville, West Virginia. She graduated from Nuttall High School in 1969 and worked in Washington DC where she met her husband and the love of her life, Paul Arvil Copfer. The two were married on November 23, 1974, and were joined happily until his death in 2010. Though she spent much of her life living far apart from her mother and her siblings, they were always treasured in her heart. She did live out her last year in the joyful company of her niece, Lorie Ann Hoffmaster, and her adoring great nephew, Clay. Her gentle nature and kind demeanor let her see the good in everyone, and she was hopeful for the future. She is survived by her mother, Lorena; her siblings Nancy, Lenora, Gary, Connie, and Dennis; her son, Christopher Paul Copfer and her daughter, Robin Irene Copfer; her grandson, Dade Christopher Copfer, and many nephews and nieces and their children. Condolences may be left for the family at
