Reverend Norman Clyde Siefferman, 83, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Friday, February 23, 2017. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and had a continued passion for aviation ever since. He was the Rector at Trinity Episcopal Church in Columbus, GA from 1965-1980 prior to coming to King George County and becoming the Rector of St. Paul's, St. John's, Emmanuel and Lambs Creek Episcopal Churches, during which time he also taught Philosophy and German at Mary Washington College, now the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. He was a published author in many publications to include the Free Lance Star Newspaper.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sara Siefferman, three children, Phyllis McCown (Walter), Eric Siefferman and his companion James Pohlman, and Elizabeth Liersch; a brother Gordon Siefferman (Loretta "Rhett"); five grandchildren, Matthew and Jacob McCown, Derek Fentress, Mitchell and Ethan Liersch; sister-in-law Jane Siefferman; nieces and nephews, Allen, Thomas, Stephen, Christina, Gretchen and Chris and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Phyllis Siefferman and a brother Floyd Siefferman, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with inurnment to follow in the St. Paul's Church Cemetery with Air Force Honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 and/or the Mary Washington Hospice, c/o Mary Washington Hospital Foundation, 2600 Mary Washington Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
