Linda S. Phillips, 68, of Colonial Beach, VA, passed away on August 2, 2017 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born June 16, 1949 in Washington D.C. She graduated from Lenape high school in New Jersey. On August 17, 1966 she married her husband of 51 years, Foster "Butch" Phillips. She was a bank teller for many years. Recently, Linda was a caregiver for the elderly. Linda was kind and caring, always helping others and would volunteer "Butch" in a minute. She enjoyed bowling, loved cats, dancing with the girls at the beach, thrift shopping and yard work. She is survived by her husband, Foster Phillips, sisters, Marge and Kathy, brothers, Johnny and Harry "Brother Bill" and step-father, John K. Parks. She was predeceased by her mother, Ruby Mae Miller. A memorial service will be held at Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel on August 10, 2017 at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Cancer Foundation. Condolences may be left at www.storkefuneralhome.com
