Suddenly on Monday, March 19, 2018, Kathy Donnice Perry Dungee entered into eternal rest to be with her Lord and Savior. Kathy Donnice Perry Dungee was born on September 26, 1961 in Washington D.C. to Sandra J. Francis and Kemory Hughes.

Kathy Donnice Perry Dungee accepted Christ at an early age and attended Shiloh Baptist Church. She attended public schools in Washington DC. She acquired her GED at a later time. On June 12, 2004, Kathy married the love of her life, Vincent L. Dungee. They lived happily in King George, where they made their life together. She loved her dog, Diamond as her baby. Some of her favorite activities were bingo, bowling, shopping, going to the movies, going on tours and cooking. At times, Kathy and Vincent would invite their friends over during a sports game and she would make lots of food. She wanted to become a caterer because she loved to cook for people. Cooking for others brought her great joy. She was a customer service manager at a Food Lion grocery store.

Over the years, her health started to fail and she was in and out of the hospital. Eventually, due to her health struggles, she was put on disability. She was a homemaker, staying at home with her beloved dog, Diamond, while Vincent worked. Together, her and her baby Diamond would watch television and movies. She was a loving person who always had a smile on her face. She would call her mother, Sandra J. Francis and her Grandmother, Helene V. Davis practically every day to check in with them and to make sure they knew that she loved them and missed them. Whenever she got off the phone with them she would always say these three words, "I LOVE YOU."

Kathy is proceeded in death by her brother, Preston S. Warren and her Aunt, Carolyn L. Anderson.
Kathy leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Vincent L. Dungee; Mother, Sandra J. Francis; Grandmother, Helene V. Davis; Aunt, J. Elaine Burton; Uncles, William L. Davis and Henry L. Davis; Cousins, Lisa L. Anderson, Darryl L. Jackson (Tina) and DeShonte S. Anderson; and a host of other family members and friends.
Services will be private.

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Suffering and Pain

She has been through so much in her years of life. There have been sunny days with bright smiles and loud laughter. Cloudy days with thunder storms and hard rain. Much suffering and so much pain. She is with her Lord and Savior right now.
The best place for her to lie down when she wakes up to a new world, a better place with mercy and grace, there is no more suffering and no more pain.

Love you always,
Your Family
