Joseph E. Dean, 60, of Ruther Glen died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Born in Alexandria he was fun loving, very compassionate and would give the shirt off of his back. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and loved his "Harley's"! He is survived by his wife, Kathy Dean; three sons, Michael Davis, Daniel Dean (Nissa Salyers) and Johnny Dean (Sierra Mitchell); two sisters, Diane and Linda Dean; mother and father-in-law, Glenn and Katherine Lipscomb; brother-in-law, Jay Lipscomb; and nine grandchildren, Chloe Davis, Phoenix Davis, Sonny Irene Davis, Noah Jensen Dean, Dixie Dean, Piper Dean, Autumn Dean, McKenna Ragan and Noah Wayne Salyers. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Dean. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 5100 Jake McWhirt Lane, Fredericksburg, VA. 22408.
