Jimmie Darrell Smithson, Jr., 37, of Colonial Beach passed away on August 31, 2017. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Renetta (Davis) and Philip Zanco of Lothian MD, father, Jimmie Smithson, Sr. of Lavaca, AR, wife, Dionne Cole of Colonial Beach, VA, sister and brother-in-law Robin (Wilson) and Juann Montez of Lusby, MD, step-sister Shannon Zanco of Upper Marlboro, MD, and nephew Miguel Montez of Lusby, MD. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Zelma (Bennett) Davis, grandfather Boyer Davis, step-mother Markie Harkins, and step-brother Sean Zanco. He is a 1998 graduate of Potomac Senior High School. He loved all things electronic. Special thanks to Philip Zanco. Services will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at Storke Funeral Home, Colonial Beach Chapel.
