Harry Smith "Pete" Taylor, Jr., 72, of Milford passed away Tue., May 29, 2018 at this home. Born in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late Ursula Beasley and Harry S. Taylor, Sr. He retired from Huttig Building Products after 33 years and then was employed with Caroline County Public Transportation for 9 years. He enjoyed hunting, football, watching wrestling and talking on the CB radio. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Taylor; two biological children, Douglas "Peanut" Taylor (Lori) of Ruther Glen and Laura K. Taylor (Eddie) of Powhatan; two step-children, George "Bo" Seal, III of Milford and Amy M. Quigley of Caroline; two grandchildren, Sean Taylor of Ruther Glen and Kristen Moore of Powhatan and nine step-grandchildren; two brothers, James Taylor (Sue) of Woodford and Kenny Taylor of Bowling Green; three sisters, Trisha Hale (Cookie) Neal of Ashland, Sue Johnson (Bill) of Shumansville and Katherine "Ginger" Cowell of Richmond. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol "Polly" Gendron and a brother, Roger "Billy" Strother. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Fri., June 1, 2018 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 31 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
