Frederick Daniel Simulcik, 72, of Woodford passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at his home. Born in the Bronx, Fred served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He retired as a firefighter with the City of Richmond and in later years enjoyed carpentry and woodworking.

Survivors include his sons, Daniel Lough, Joshua Simulcik, and Jason Simulcik; his sisters, Catherine Pray and Stephanie Flowers, and three grandchildren. His parents, Fred and Catherine Simulcik, preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Friday, March 9th from 5:00 – 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 10th at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Burial, with Navy honors, will follow in the family cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Caroline County Fire and Rescue, 233 West Broaddus Avenue, Bowling Green, VA 22427. Online condolences may be left for the family at
