Eric Boyd Adams, 64, of Montpelier died July 19, 2018. He served in the Navy as a welder and continued in that field as a civilian. He retired after 26 years in the Construction and Maintenance Department with Henrico County School Board. Following retirement, he was a welding instructor at J Sargent Reynolds Community College. He loved motorcycling, beekeeping, and gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Donna Adams; three sons, Robert, Jonathan and Joshua Adams; one sister, Susan Adams Stanley; and a cousin, Betty Jean. He was predeceased by his father, Leo Floyd Adams and mother, Alice Boyd Davis.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday evening, July 24 at 7 pm at Carmel Baptist Church, 24320 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Ruther Glen, VA 22546.
