Emily Barlow Chilton, 89 of Bowling Green passed away, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Caroline County, she was an active member of Bowling Green Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. For many years, Emily volunteered her time and cooking talents with the Bowling Green Fire Auxiliary and later with the Ladysmith Rescue Squad Auxiliary. She was the widow of Earl Chilton, Jr.

Survivors include her five children, Dianne Webb (Bill), Debbie Dianis (George), Bobby Chilton (Todd), Donna Jenkins (Gary) and Faye Krause (Roger); ten grandchildren, Daniel Webb (Beth), Kristen Bissoon (Mark), Chad Webb (Emily), Mandy Jones (Dwayne), Andrea Horsley (Alex), Trae Jenkins (Sabrina), Tyler Jenkins (Alicia), Emily Brumfield (Jacob), Shawn Hengst (James) and Steven Krause; seventeen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 17th at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 18th at 11:00 AM in Bowling Green Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bowling Green Baptist Church.
