Donald E. Bowling, 70 of Ruther Glen passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at his home. Born in Marion, his passions in life were logging and drag racing. He loved his family and friends and was surrounded by them when he left this world.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Bowling; children, Melissa Gentry (Michael), Monica Booth (Sammie), Kimberley Jelinek, Connie Bero, Kathy Bowling, Bret Bowling (Brandy), Joey Pavie and Donald Wayne Bowling (Lisa); sisters, Brenda Lee Layton and Chris Worley; twenty grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. His brothers, Earl Bowling, Richard Bowling, and John Allen Heckert, preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 30th from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Bowling Green chapel of Storke Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, July 31st at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel. After the burial in Marye Cemetery, a reception will be held at the Partlow Ruritan, 3229 Partlow Road, Partlow VA. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.storkefuneralhome.com.
