Clayton Wayne Beazley, 85, of Sparta left this earth on Sunday, October 8, 2017 after a long battle of three years with a Glioblastoma brain tumor. Wayne was born, lived and died in the ancestral home of his great-great grandfather. He was a farmer all of his life, an avid quail hunter and loved to fish. Wayne was a long time member and Deacon of Salem Baptist Church and served on many committees during his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Ruth Beazley, brother, Earl Beazley and sister, Elaine Sale. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maxine Southworth Beazley; a son, Todd Beazley (Sylvia); grandchildren, Cliff Beazley and Kara Beazley; brother, Gordon Beazley; sister, Imogene Driver and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Salem Baptist Church, 24032 Sparta Road, Milford, VA. 22514. Visitation will be 12:30 -2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be sent to Salem Baptist Church, 24032 Sparta Road, Milford, VA. 22514.
