Annette C. McDonald, 75, of Bowling Green passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018, at her home. Her parents, Lloyd and Lucille Chenault; her daughter, Joni Loving; her sister, Barbara Davis and her brother, Edwin Chenault, preceded her in death.

Annette had retired from Fort A.P. Hill after 31 years of service. After retirement, she worked seasonally for the Caroline Commissioner of the Revenue for 11 years. She was a member of NARFE and extremely active in her church, Bowling Green United Methodist. There she served as President of the UMW and she also served on the Ashland District and Rappahannock River District Mission Teams.

Survivors include her husband, Paul McDonald; her granddaughter, Heather R. Loving; her great-grandchildren, Isaiah Burton and Jayvon Morris; stepsons, Mark McDonald, and Paul McDonald; sister in law, Cathy Chenault and nieces, Sharon Wilkerson, Angie Marshall, Pamela Chenault and Amanda Mongold.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1st from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Bowling Green United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 2nd at 11:00 am in the church, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bowling Green United Methodist Church.
