Agnes H. Kolb, born Dec. 10, 1935 was welcomed by God and family on Dec. 27, 2017 after a lengthy illness.

Agnes was born and raised in South Carolina and remained a southern Belle wherever she lived. She married Fred W. Kolb, Nov. 4, 1961 in Charlotte, North Carolina, where the two began their family and lived for many years. Agnes was a student of God and exhibited the teachings of her Presbyterian faith in kindness and compassion for others. She was deeply devoted to her family and had a successful homemaking career. Time spent with Agnes traveling, discovering new flavors, or fashions was always more colorful by her presence.

She is survived by her husband, Fred; two daughters, Margie (Phil) Sheridan and Kathleen (Ross) Woodall; her sister, Martha Groves and numerous nieces and nephews. A service in her honor will be held 9:00 Am Thursday, Jan. 4 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Burial will be held at Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
