Condolence & Memory Journal

I was honored to know CAPT Veasey through NSWC Dahlgren Public Affairs events, the Heritage Museum, but what I will remember most was when he spoke to may students at King George Middle School years ago. He was truly interested in the students and shared his optimism for the future of King George. Ed Veasey was indeed a visionary and truly inspiring. I am sorry I did not know of his passing as I was in Arizona with my sister during her last days. God bless.

Capt. Ed:
The "board" is green! May you surface, surface, surface with fair winds and following seas to a well-earned heavenly reward! We have the watch...Well done good and faithful servant!

Any time, any where, always ready, always there.

Candle

I am so sorry for your loss. I send this with sadness and also great pride in having the chance to know such a wonderful man. I always enjoyed talking with Ed about his family and listening to all the knowledge that he had to share. Ed was so kind and he seemed to always have a smile for you. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

Sincerely,
Gale Marshall
